Michael brings a wealth of experience in the educational and nonprofit arenas. He is also Vice Chancellor at the University of South Carolina. He managed the fundraising for the completion of the $30 million George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics and served as Director of Advancement at the Purdue University College of Agriculture where he supervised a development staff and raised $146 million over seven years.

He served as President of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and Director of Annual Giving/Major Gifts for Habitat for Humanity International. Michael has a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Illinois and certificates from the National Planned Giving Institute and Indiana School of Philanthropy.
