Mark assisted with a successful $60 million campaign for the ProFootball Hall of Fame, where he organized and planned all fundraising activities and overall campaign management. He also served as the Director of Development and Communications at the Don Bosco Centers, where he was responsible for all annual, major and planned giving for the organization, and at Northwest Missouri State University, where he secured multiple five- and six-figure gifts for athletics initiatives.

He is a member of a number of nonprofit associations, sits on the Downtown Revitalization Taskforce for Maryville, Mo., and actively volunteers at several local organizations. Mark received his B.A. and M.B.A. from Northwest Missouri State University. He received his doctorate in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and is continuing to pursue his postdoctoral studies.

Robert F. Hartsook Receives Honorary Doctorate of Business

Bob Hartsook was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration by Plymouth University in Plymouth, England. The University described Bob as: “arguably the most influential living person improving the philanthropic donor experience.” Such global affirmation appropriately recognizes Bob and uniquely distinguishes Hartsook as the world’s fundraising counsel.”

Plymouth University honors individuals who have achieved great distinction in their professional lives and who have made contributions to society at large. In recognizing Bob Hartsook’s impressive achievements, the University has highlighted his service to the field of philanthropy, his promotion of academic study and research and his personal commitment to growing philanthropy around the world.
