HARTSOOK COMPANIES, INC. APPOINTS TERRY SNAPP
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

WICHITA, Kan. (July 17, 2007) - Bob Hartsook, Chairman and CEO of Hartsook Companies, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Snapp, MA, CFRE, as Executive Vice President. Highly regarded by his peers, Snapp is an icon in the Kansas City philanthropic community.

Snapp most recently served as Executive Director of Truman Medical Center Charitable Foundation where he and his development team worked to complete a highly success capital campaign raising $55 million and following the completion of the campaign in December 2006 raising an additional $16 million. Over a five-year period, Snapp led the Truman Medical Center development team as they raised funds totaling more than $71 million.

Snapp has a distinguished career in fundraising. Before his work with Truman, Snapp served as Vice President for University Advancement at Park University where he helped launch the first campaign at Park in many years and led the initiative to success - exceeding the $20 million goal.

Snapp also served as Executive Director of both SHARE Inc. and the Independence Community Foundation, and held several key positions with Neighborhood Councils, Inc. including Executive Director, Director of Development, Director of Communication and Training, and Program Development Officer.
