For capital and equipment, $4.7 million was secured; more than $400,000 was raised for annual fund. Director of Development Chris Nolte said the campaign produced 12 foundation gifts; 72 business gifts; 489 individual or family gifts; and one government grant. The multi-million dollar campaign was the first in the 30-year history of the organization. A $550,000 J.E. & L.E. After a successful donor recognition dinner last month, several scholarship gifts arrived, allowing CST to offer yet another University Scholars Award (full tuition, books, fees, stipend and housing) to a deserving student. This addition brings the total to nine full scholarships this year - propelling the campaign towards its year-end goal. The annual phone-a-thon is in progress and annual appeals have been sent with good news about the school's most recent successes. - Duane Dyer, ThM, Executive Vice President (San Francisco); Lisa Marcia, Fundraising Manager (Corona, Calif.); Ken Heisz, J.D., Director of Development (Claremont, Calif.)

Labette Community College (Parsons, Kan.) raised over $50,000 at their 10th Annual Auction for Scholarships. This is the largest amount of money that has ever been brought in by the annual event.
