"In this time of economic uncertainty, Hartsook Companies is pleased to announce yet another successful quarter in our company's history. Nonprofit institutions are understanding their heightened responsibility to focus their fundraising priorities and resources on experienced talent who can implement strategies that are research-based and proven. This is why we continue to lead the field."

Bob Hartsook,
Founder and CEO

National Growing Philanthropy Conference

The 2010 National Growing Philanthropy Conference, held January 21-23 in Kansas City, combined the time-tested experience of Hartsook Companies, the new, cutting-edge research of the Hartsook Chair in Fundraising at Indiana University, Hartsook Institutes and other fundraising experts to offer the only competency-based forum for a team of dynamic speakers to share applied research, knowledge and outcomes-based principles to help increase giving.

Relevant applications of research including the Google Study on Poverty Giving, Bank of America Study on High Net-worth Donors, the groundbreaking AFP Sargeant/Shang Bequest Pledging Study and the forthcoming Sargeant textbook, Fundraising Principles and Practice, and more were presented in a concentrated, accessible learning environment.

We hosted more than 700 participants from across the country, including Arkansas, California, Washington DC, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Washington State, and Wisconsin. International participants came from as far away as El Salvador and Chile.

Replays of select sessions are available at our web site.
