Giving Back
Hartsook Companies National Day of Service provided more than 50 eligible nonprofits access to some of the nation's most successful and knowledgeable fundraising consultants on January 20 and 21, 2010 at Avila University. The opportunity for counseling was so well received Hartsook Companies added additional dates on February 11 and 12.
Through a tailored discussion about their most pressing fundraising challenges, nonprofit executives, development directors and board members gained advice that can lead their organization to fulfill their missions through increased funding. "Thanks for a great conference! It was an inspiring and life-changing experience for me," wrote Michael Webb, Development Director of Families Together, "I've gone from being overwhelmed to enthusiastic about the fundraising challenges faced by Families Together. I'm looking forward to our 60-day check-in with Matt."
"We understand the tremendous impact nonprofits have on any community. The effects of their work in the health and human services, arts and education, recreation, and safety net sectors are literally immeasurable. When we support them, we support the entire Kansas City community," says Matt Beem.
Bob Hartsook says, "This is a tangible demonstration of our care and commitment to the field of fundraising and philanthropy in a very real way that can yield great results for Kansas City well into the future."
