Blackwelder Joins Hartsook

After a very successful fundraising career leading such institutions as Wichita State University, Iowa State University, Purdue University and most recently University of Missouri-Kansas City - Murray Blackwelder will join Hartsook as a Senior Executive Vice President.

"The addition of Murray to our consultant team continues our tradition of attracting the very best," says Hartsook President and CEO Matt Beem. Initially, Blackwelder will be part of the team raising funds for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home (Abilene, Kan.) among other projects.

The addition of Blackwelder is especially significant for Hartsook, since Murray was Executive Director of the Wichita State Foundation when Hartsook founder Bob Hartsook served as Vice President which included oversight of the Foundation. In the 1980s, they led one of only 30 successful $100 million university campaigns in America.
