Because of Hartsook's size and reputation we are frequently asked if we do campaigns under $10 million. The answer is a big "Yes!" This edition of eHartsook highlights smaller campaigns in a three-state region of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Southern Missouri. Here, we feature Tulsa Boys Home, a client for over 10 years, but we have worked with a variety of organizations from the Philbrook Museum, DVIS, Tulsa Ballet, Trinity School and others over the years. You will see our work in NW Arkansas, one of the fastest growing parts of the country, also known as the home of Walmart. We have been pleased to provide support for children and family initiatives, Boy Scouts and libraries, and recently, we responded to an invitation from Joplin to work with more than a dozen institutions two years after the devastating tornado. Thanks for being a part of the Hartsook network.

This month's eHartsook is focused on the Heartland, particularly the Greater Kansas City area - home of Hartsook's worldwide headquarters. Hartsook clients are serving coast-to-coast, at home and abroad in India, Latin America and throughout Europe. Yet, our uninterrupted connection with Middle America is stronger than ever. The sheer volume of projects and success we have achieved is unparalleled; our consultants' experience and expertise is indisputable; and - based on our exceptional partnerships with Avila University, Hartsook Institutes and The School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, home of the Robert F. Hartsook Endowed Chair in Fundraising - our knowledge of the latest research and knowledge-based fundraising education is unprecedented. Despite our global reach, when nonprofits in the Heartland want to raise money, they still ask: "Can we get Hartsook?"

The recently released 2012 Giving USA Report confirms what Hartsook knows well: money is still being given away. In fact, a lot of money is being given away. The report confirms that U.S. taxpayers gave $298 billion to nonprofit organizations in 2011, three percent more than the $290 billion they gave in 2010.
