The Heritage Foundation Raises Nearly $500 Million
The Heritage Foundation (Washington, D.C.) has been a Hartsook client for eight years. In that time, its fundraising has grown from $47 million in 2006 to nearly $200 million. In the first two years of a $750-million campaign, it has raised almost $500 million. As a result of its fundraising efforts, The Heritage Foundation received its largest gift of $54 million (one of the top 40 gifts in America for 2014).

Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Nonprofit Raises $25 Million
DVIS (Tulsa, Okla.) is the sole domestic violence shelter in the area providing transitional housing and counseling. Three years after it began with Hartsook, DVIS has raised $25 million to build all new facilities.

Over $330 Million in Gifts and In-Kind Food Raised in Three Years
Harvesters Community Food Network (Kansas City) received a million-dollar challenge gift from the Mabee Foundation (Tulsa, Okla.). This gift is part of a $10-million effort to upgrade Harvesters' facilities and equipment. For fiscal year 2015, Harvesters has raised $85 million in gifts and in-kind food. It is expected that over the five-year duration of their strategic plan, it will raise over $600 million - making them the most successful recipient of philanthropy in Kansas City. Harvesters has been a Hartsook client for 16 years.

Shawnee Mission Health: Leading the Community in Healthcare Funding
Shawnee Mission Health (Shawnee Mission, Kan.) received a million-dollar challenge from the Mabee Foundation (Tulsa, Okla.). The Foundation is providing leadership on a series of educational and support services. As a Hartsook client for the past eight years, the Foundation has raised nearly $50 million, making it the largest community healthcare fundraising organization in the area.

Gov. Nixon Appoints Hartsook Legal Counsel Herb Kohn as Chair of Missouri Gaming Commission
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon appointed Herb Kohn as a member and chair of the Missouri Gaming Commission. Kohn is senior counsel with the international law firm of Bryan Cave in its Kansas City office. "I am very excited to be taking on this new challenge," Kohn said. "The work will be highly interesting and I look forward to interacting with the other commissioners and staff of the Missouri Gaming Commission. I am also mindful that a large percentage of Gaming Commission proceeds are dedicated to veteran and educational causes."

Indiana University Selects Bob Hartsook to Receive its Presidential Laurel Award
Hartsook Founder and Chairman Bob Hartsook will be one of five recipients to be awarded its prestigious Presidential Laurel Award. Awardees will be honored in Bloomington, Ind. in April of 2016.
