California School Gets Unexpected Million-Dollar Gift Toward $10 Million Goal
Santa Fe Christian Schools (San Diego, Calf.) was founded in 1978. For much of its history, almost all support came from relatives of SFCS students or from local foundations and businesses. After enlisting Hartsook to assist with the Aspiring Beyond campaign, a $7.5 million goal was set. However, during the silent phase, it became apparent costs would run closer to $9 million and a teacher endowment fund for an additional $1 million was added to bring the new goal to $10 million.
