When asked about Annette's contribution to Hartsook Companies, Inc., coworkers are enthusiastic in their response, pointing out that she was voted Hartsook's Client Service Center Employee of the Year for 2004 and 2005. She is described as a team player with a positive attitude; someone who can be counted on to provide assistance whenever opportunities arise. Annette puts this can-do approach to good use in her interaction with clients, ensuring that all processes are understood, questions answered and needs fulfilled.

"I place immense value on the missions of each of the organizations with which we interact," says Annette. "It's great to wake up every morning knowing that our goal is to help them fulfill those missions."

Happy to devote her energies to facilitating client-consultant interaction for Hartsook Companies, Annette is the key liaison throughout all phases of the relationship. Utilizing her exceptional communication skills, she coordinates campaign assessments, conducts on-site development audits and personal interviews, and works with Fundraising Management teams to ensure client expectations are not only met, but exceeded. Through open dialog and conscientious attention to every detail, she ensures quality service and client success.

Annette's association with the firm began as an independent consultant and communications coordinator. At that time, she helped share the success of Hartsook Companies' clients through news releases, articles and corporate information materials. Later, she edited and managed production and marketing of ASR Philanthropic Publishing's Giving Report and served as contributing editor of 100-Year History of the YWCA, Tulsa. Concurrently, she was a freelance writer for a variety of national publications and managed the editorial and production functions of a monthly niche publication.

Annette continues to be involved with Hartsook Companies marketing and communications as part of the marketing team by helping develop, author, edit and facilitate the production of case statements, success stories, brochures and newsletters. She also provided technical assistance to Bob Hartsook on his book, How to Get Million Dollar Gifts and Have Donors Thank You! as well as providing editing and production assistance for On the Money! and Reality Fundraising: Proven Practical Ideas for the Enlightened Fundraiser.

Annette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wichita State University. She lives in Wichita with her husband, Tom, and son, Justin.
